In the last few months... I have been embarrassed to call myself a human being. The judgment that I have heard in the media....and seen first hand is horrific to me.
Being close to officers and what they do... I have a respect for them... and see the wonderful things that they do.
I agree...there are "bad" officers and "bad" things do happen.... but there are also "good" and "bad" citizens...no matter what their race is.... and some of them do "bad" things to officers as well as other people.
On Jan 1 2015 I was put in a position of seeing the reality of a situation from the officer's perspective... I've had respect for officers and what they do.... but now my respect goes so much deeper than you can imagine.
I'm ok....and the off duty officer is ok... but until you have been in a situation that threatened your life... you have no right to judge what any officer might have done in the line of duty.
